Kat is from Thailand, Allen is from Idaho;
Together we are Thaidaho.
In early 2020—after 10 great years!—we permanently closed THAIDAHO VISTA RESORT: our little award-winning B&B and COFFEE SHOP on Koh Mak. We’re now back on the ‘Idaho’ side of ‘Thaidaho,’ in the mountains of Teton Valley, near Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.
Kat is still baking, gardening, and making great art, music and coffee. Allen is still cooking, building, and painting. But now we’re doing everything on a smaller and more relaxed scale. If you’re out and about Yellowstone, Teton Valley or Grand Teton National Park, stop by and see us at THAIDAHO VICTOR B&B.

Kat is a professional translator from Bangkok who
reads, writes and speaks Thai, Japanese & English. Kat is also a talented artist who sketches, paints and water colors; a musician who plays guitar & sings; a great cook who loves to bake, an accomplished barista & mixologist, and an organic gardener.
Kat loves solar eclipses, particularly when totality can be viewed in the backyard at Thaidaho Victor!
Allen is an environmental science & water resources engineer, an entrepreneur, ex-software developer, airplane pilot, skydiver, scuba diver, skier & snowboarder, amateur photographer, cook, life-long traveler, and lover of music, the great outdoors, and most of all—Kat!
From time to time Allen has been known to sit for one of Kat’s whimsical portraits, but he’ll never admit it.
