Hi, I’m Allen.  I’m getting old, but regardless of the frustrations and challenges, it’s still better than the alternative.  I’m also now fully retired with time on my hands, which leads to reminiscing and nostalgia.  Both of these things can be dangerous.  

Most of these pages are just photo galleries (every picture tells a story!).  I have several friends who are professional photographers, so I know full well that my photos are completely amateur.  But I like them nonetheless, and I’ve enjoyed putting these pages together.  As a sort of memoir, these pages are entirely lacking because most of my life pre-dated digital photography.  I suspect that’s a good thing for everyone.

These pages look good on a laptop or desktop.  I refuse to own a smart phone, so I have little idea what they look like on a phone.

My goal is to wean myself off Facebook—my one and only social media account—by creating this alternative place to post photos, thoughts and opinions, as well as to vent my various rants & raves.  It’s safer to post here where nobody will see it and be offended.  But if you’re still able to find something here that offends you, please know I couldn’t care less.

I hope and expect this page—and all its future menu-driven children pages—to grow over time.  Whether or not it turns out to be interesting remains to be seen.  If you have any questions, or any problems with the website, please Contact Me.
