Hi, this is Allen.  I created this page for Kat to have a place she could share personal interests, photos, etc.  But the truth is, Kat has no interest in sharing stuff online.  She’d rather use her time to make art, music, bake, garden, or work.  So it’s actually me (Allen) that is updating this page from time to time, mostly just with some photos of my sweetheart, Kat.

A little background: Kat reads, writes and speaks Thai, Japanese and English.  For 11 years, Kat was a professional translator in Bangkok for Siam Inter Multi-Media, translating Japanese language books into Thai.  After that, Kat spent 10 years co-owning and running Thaidaho Vista B&B and Coffee Shop on Koh Mak, and Thaidaho Asian Treats in Teton Valley, Idaho.  These days, Kat spends her time making art and music, gardening (when it’s not snowing!), baking and cooking, and working various day jobs in and around Teton Valley, Idaho.  You can see Kat’s Art, HERE.  Otherwise, on these pages you’ll mostly find my photos of Kat just doing what she likes to do.
