Thaidaho Asian Treats
semi-retired
After 14 years, Thaidaho Asian Treats is now ‘semi-retired’ and making food only for our guests at Thaidaho Victor B&B
Before food trucks were a ‘thing’—we opened Thaidaho Asian Treats, our commercial food truck business, in 2005. Our goal was to cook and serve great-tasting Asian street food for fair and reasonable prices. By doing so, we made many friends who found us at the Art Fairs in Jackson Hole; Music on Main concerts in Driggs and later in Victor; Farmers Markets in Driggs and Jackson; various Beer Festivals, Jazz Concerts and along the river walkway in Idaho Falls; and at special events, parties and weddings around Teton Valley.
In 12 years we never missed a music festival up at Grand Targhee Resort. If you ever had chicken green curry, or Korean bibimbap, or a fresh-squeezed lemon-lime-gingerade at a Targhee music festival—that was us! Targhee was humbling: at times our customers stood in line for over an hour just to buy our food, and many told us they looked forward to our food as much as the music. And at times Targhee was exhausting, as some of those lines continued non-stop for four or five hours! We typically cooked and served over 1000 meals in three days—averaging about one meal every two minutes! Busy days filled with lots of work, great music and great people!
Included in this Menu are photos from many our events and festivals over the years. Have a look. If you know us—you may find yourself in one of our photos. Click on any photo to launch a slide show.
